As the Leadership Development & Mental Wellness Specialist at In Rest – BLG, I lead the Effective Leadership Development program. It’s my conviction that, in the words of renowned leader and founder, Craig Groeschel, “Everyone wins when the leader gets better.” That could mean two things. First, as one develops and grows as a leader, every part of that person’s organization is able to develop as well. Second, it can also mean that as a leader experiences greater wellbeing through healing (as one gets better), so too can that leader’s capacity for serving others become greater. This sums up what makes me passionate about leadership development and well-being: the value they will add to others as as result of getting better!

My Mission

I believe I exist to help others live well. That’s why God made me, why Jesus saved me, and why the Spirit of God equipped with the tools and talents that empower me to lead others to live well. Part of my mission in life is working as an advocate and champion for the health, growth, and development of other leaders, to see them (and the people they lead) flourish. At BLG, we believe in serving others, awakening others’ God-given potential, and leading with love. If there is any team to accomplish my mission, I could think of none other than Basque Leadership Group to see it happen. We at BLG believe others’ development and well being matters, so working together to see this shared mission through is a no-brainer.

My Story

I was born to a family of service-oriented, Christ-centered leaders, but it took me a long time to receive that identity for myself. Once Jesus finally got ahold of me, I began to overcome my depression, struggles with insecurity, and addiction, which ultimately led to me accepting my calling to passionately serve others in love. Not long after, I began my ten-year journey serving in church leadership, specializing in youth and family programming. My desire to help others experience the freedom and victory i have eventually led me to launch a coaching business called In Rest Institute, to help leaders experience greater mental health and confidence. This movement toward coaching eventually resulted in connecting with Gabriel Basque, Founder and Chief Serving Officer at Basque Leadership Group, who invited me to join his team and partner together in serving leaders.
