Chris Wyman is an LMI Canada Licensee and CEO of Pathfinder Business Consulting. He brings more than 25 years of experience in financial expertise, having built his career across commercial banking, internal audit, and professional facilitation. Early in his journey, Chris served as a commercial account manager, where he developed a strong understanding of what makes businesses thrive—and how to recognize the early signs when they don’t. His ability to interpret financial performance in context laid the foundation for his transition into risk management. As Director of Internal Audit for a diversified group of companies in oilfield services, construction, and financial services, Chris led a team focused on risk identification and process improvement.

In 2016, Chris began facilitating workshops focused on business performance, combining financial expertise with his passion for working with people. Since then, he has worked extensively with financial institutions and professional associations, delivering training for commercial lenders and continuing professional development for CPAs. His sessions focus on practical drivers of performance: budgeting, leadership, risk management, and change readiness. With a servant leadership mindset, Chris helps professionals strengthen decision-making and unlock individual and organizational performance.

Chris holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) designation and is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA). His approach is grounded in curiosity, clarity, and continuous learning, qualities that resonate with clients and colleagues.

Chris lives in Calgary but carries the heart of a Nova Scotian wherever he goes. He values growth, collaboration, and the belief that leadership is less about titles and more about helping others succeed.
